You can add or remove content sections from selected pages of your course website.
In this example we'll demonstrate how to add and then remove a title section from the Teacher Bio page.
Find and select your course on the My Courses screen and navigate to the Website Editor.
When the website editor loads navigate to the desired page in the preview frame.
In this example we clicked the Teacher Bio link on the site's top navigation bar to load that page.
Hover over a section in the preview frame to reveal the + icon. It will appear at the bottom center of the hovered section. Click the icon to open the Add Sections menu.
You'll see a list of available content sections that can be added to the current page. The list will vary depending on which page you're on and which content is already on the page.
In this example a Page Title Banner section is the only available content that can be added to the Teacher Bio page.
Click the + Icon next to the available content section to add it to your page. The preview frame will then reload to show the new section has been added to your page.
When the new section is on your page you can style it as desired. i.e. change the backbround color, text, add a background image, etc.
To remove a section, hover over it and click the Edit Section button that appears along the left side.
When the section design menu opens from the left, click the arrow to expand the top menu group: Section Options.
Click the Disable Section button to remove the section from the current page. The website preview frame will then reload with the section removed. You can repeat the steps above if you'd like to add it back in the future.
Depending on the page type some content sections are required as shown in the screenshot of the Page Sections menu. For obvious reasons the Teacher Bio content section is required on the Teacher Bios page and thus cannot be removed. The Header and Footer sections are required on every page of your website.
