This article explains how to upload one or more videos to a lesson.
You can upload video files in any of the following formats: MPEG, OGG, WEBM, MP4, MOV, 3GP, WMV, AVI files accepted.
Please note: If you'd like to add a video that's already on a streaming site such as YouTube or Vimeo then you should refer to the help article on how to embed custom content in a lesson.
Navigate to your course's Curriculum and Content screen. Then click on the desired lesson.
On the Edit Lesson screen, click the [+] Insert Content button and choose Video.
The video upload widget will appear as shown in the screenshot below.
Drag-drop or choose a video file to upload from your local computer.
After choosing a video the uploader will display its file name and file size.
Click the Start upload button to begin uploading.
The video uploader will show progress while uploading and allow you to pause and restart the upload.
Please note: Stay on the page until the video has finished uploading. If you navigate to another page the video may not upload successfully.
When the upload is complete you'll see a placeholder screen for a short time while the video is being processed (transcoded for streaming).
Click the Check Status link or refresh the page to see if the video is ready for streaming.
When your video has finished processing and it's ready for streaming it will appear in a player window.
Click the Play icon to preview.
