How to send messages to students

You can communicate with your students using the Message Center features in your LessonFlyer admin panel. 

Sign-in to your LessonFlyer account and click the Messages link on the main navigation bar. This will take you to the Message Center where you can view and respond to messages from students.

The user interface in the Message Center is kind of a hybrid design between traditional email and text messaging. Conversations with a student are grouped together and can be viewed as a thread. However, there can be multiple separate conversations threads with the same student.

Click on a message to view the conversation thread and reply to the student.

The teacher(s) assigned to a course will receive an email notification when a student sends a messages from their Student Dashboard. Likewise, students will also get an email notification when a Teacher sends them a message from the LessonFlyer admin panel. These notifications don't contain the actual text of the message but they have a link that takes you to the correct screen where you can read and respond.
