We recommend adding a short 1-3 minute promotional video that explains the benefits of taking your course, the intended audience, pre-requisites, etc. Your promo video can be shown on the home page and other pages of your course website depending on your website's design.
To upload a promo video, sign-in to your LessonFlyer admin panel and navigate to the Curriculum & Content screen for your course.
The upload Promo Video widget appears at the top of the Course Curriculum screen. See screenshot below for reference.
Click the upload link and select a video file from your computer.
MPEG, OGG, WEBM, MP4, MOV, 3GP, WMV and AVI video files are accepted.
The video uploader widget will appear after you select a video.
Click the Start Upload button.
When the upload is complete you'll see a placeholder graphic for a short time while the video is transcoding.
After a short period of time your video will be ready for preview.
Click the Edit Design Link on the Course Website button to navigate to the Website Editor in order to add the promo video to your site.
The Promo Video website section should appear by default on the Course Details page of your website. If not, you can refer to the help articles on the website editor to learn how to add this section.
